Listen the audio provided by the Metropolitan Police a little boy saves his mother’s life when he picks up the phone using the Siri function on her smartphone to call to 999.
Four-year-old Roman, from Kenley, Croydon, used his mother’s mobile to call 999 when she was unresponsive. In the audio from the call, the little boy can be heard saying “she’s closing her eyes and she’s not breathing”.
Chief Superintendent Ade Adelekan said that this situation demonstrated the importance of teaching children their home address and what to do in an emergency situation.
Thirteen minutes later, officers arrived and forced their way into the home in Kenley, Croydon, where they found the boy along with his twin brother and a younger brother all inside with their mother who lay unconscious on the floor.
